課程概覧

呢一個課程好抵讀,因為我將兩個 topics,包括 fossil fuel and carbon compounds 同埋 chemistry of carbon compounds 夾埋一齊教。原因係,呢兩個 topics 根本上應該係一課。不過因為呢一課係好大課,所牽涉嘅概念亦都好多。所以喺課程設計上面,考評局會將佢拆開變成兩課,喺唔同級別度教。但反而,我喜歡一氣呵成,一次過教晒,咁樣學,成課嘅整合性會高啲。

呢一課其實真心難,因為有一部份嘅內容係以前 A-level 先會教,而且呢一課嘅整合性好高,一環扣一環,只要其中一部份學得唔透澈,就會影響埋其他部份。所以有同學甚至會放棄呢一課。但當然會報我課程嘅同學都係唔會咁容易放棄嘅。當响人哋弱嘅地方都學得好,咁你就可以贏人一大截!所以大家要努力!

整個課程可以分成六大部份
1. Hydrocarbons 同 fossil fuels
2. Homologous series
3. Isomerism
4. Typical reactions of various functional groups
5. Inter-conversion of carbon compounds
6. Important organic substances

雖然呢一課又長又深,但係成份卷出得最多分又未必一定係呢課。坦白講,值博率真係唔高。但如果你想攞 4 或以上,你又唔可以放棄呢一課,而且好似我正話講,呢一課嘅內容一環扣一環,又唔可以讀啲唔讀啲,所以都幾雞肋。如果你真係諗住衝星星,我就勸大家,乜都唔好諗,早啲做準備,搏盡!

關於導師

Winter Sir 自從取得化學哲學碩士MPhil 之後,便加入教育行列。在一所英文中學任教了超過二十年。任化學科科主任亦超過十年。曾任公開考試閲卷員。
但......因為教得太耐,越教越覺得悶,越冇動力!不安於現狀嘅我,決定响五年前,開始拍以動畫形式進行嘅教學片。懶係雄心壯志,誓要將整個DSE 課程拍成動畫放上 YouTube,可以俾學生隨時隨地睇。經過幾年嘅努力,我所設立嘅 YouTube Channel chemchemday 訂閱人數已經超越4300。所拍嘅短片亦超過666 條。
近年接觸咗翻轉教學 flipped learning 之後,更加成為 flipped learning 嘅狂熱份子,燃燒返我對教育嘅熱誠,唔想再做教育界嘅老海鮮!希望可以將翻轉教學呢一種教學模式推廣到其他學校。

講解非常清晰,有用日常生活例子,令概念更加簡單易明!筆記非常詳盡並精闢,但如果有彩色印刷更好,因為路線圖及相關reaction沒有顏色太可惜!!
